While I have a little bit of experience with Olympus m4/3 cameras, I am much more familiar with Panasonic. The answer depends a bit on how you shoot and which bodies your are comparing. In single shot AF, the m4/3 lenses will be faster. With continuous AF where you are shooting multiple photos of your child as they move around, the M100 and EF-M 22mm will track a bit better, at least compared to the Panasonic bodies

Basically, the AF mechanism in the 22mm is slower than the mechanism in the 15mm and 20mm lenses. However, the AF system in the M100 is a bit more robust than that in the m4/3 cameras. The exception would be the E-M1 bodies with phase detection built into the image sensor that should be better all around.

Have you considered a different Fuji camera? The XF10 uses the same sensor and AF system as the X-A3, X-A5 and X-T100. It is an outdated AF system and very inferior to what is available in many of the other Fuji cameras. Aside from the XF10, X-A3, X-A5, and X-T100, all other 24mp Fuji cameras will focus much, much faster. The two 26mp cameras would also be a major upgrade.

Thank you for your reply. I was actually thinking more or less about AF-S - there is no way I could do any half serious attempt of AF-C with Fuji XF10. Also, panasonic disable AF-C when 20 1.7 lens is mounted to a camera.

I purchased XF10 as a budget test of Fuji color science. At the end I did not care for its film simulations much, but it is nice take everywhere camera, since it is just right size and weight. Also, it has very fine sensor. So only issue I had with it is AF. For landscape type of photography it is very good in my opinion.

I might consider other body from Fuji if there is nice pancake in a store with compact body. Will investigate further...

As I wrote I already own m4/3 system with bunch of lenses, but there is no right sized body for this specific need and fast AF pancake lens. Among others I own GM1 which is actually too small for me. And with lens such as 15 1.7 it is not flat enough to fit into smaller bag or bigger pocket. That is why I now started to consider M100 with pancake lens.
