Sorry, perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "Obviously taken during the daylight" if you to mean "they were not taken close to sunset/sunrise", again I find these implacable observations confusing. The strong vertical shadowing in #2 and #3 are only created with a sun low to the horizon. The images were taken closer to sunrise or sunset versus at high noon.

I'd venture had the OP posted these images without disclosures, not a single person would have made any of these conclusions on their own. Just my gut feeling.
