I hope Canon will add focus fine adjust for the m6II with a future update. I wanted to calibrate my lenses to the M6ii and was surprised that this function is missing.
Or did I miss the menu?

I believe you are talking about AFMA (Auto Focus Micro Adjust) and not fine tuning via FTM (Full Time Manual), correct?
Personally I'd like to have AFMA as an option. There are lots of scenarios where it'd be nice for the camera to (automatically) move the focal plane (DOF) from the original focal point.

I'm struggling to think of one where manually applying AFMA would be any easier than simply refocusing manually.
Any situation where you would want to move the DOF either toward you or away from you on a consistent basis, without having to spend the extra time fine-tuning the focal point.
For instance if you were shooting portraits and you wanted to get (more of) the nose in focus, you just dial in a little ( - ) AFMA.
Eyeglasses wearers? And you wanted to get the eye in focus and not the frames of the glasses, just dial in some ( + ) AFMA.
Fast objects coming toward you where the Servo AF just isn't keeping up, and your shots are ending up back-focused. Dial in some ( - ) AFMA.
Shots where you are focusing on the front of your subject and you want to utilize more of the DOF (instead of wasting the front 1/3 of your DOF), just dial in some ( + ) AFMA. ie bugs & birds.
There are all kinds of shooting situations I can think of that would benefit from being able to dial in some AFMA. I used it all the time on my DSLRs (and not just to correct for lens miscalibration!).

Thanks, I get it now. Not sure it's how I would want to do it, but there's never only one right way to do anything in photography.
