Gamma grrr

Hp Laptop, man, driving me nuts...

I cannot get gamma even up to 2, let alone 2.2, and the closer I get, the more it messes with black levels...

Anyone else have this issue?

I have a spider, nope it can't do it, it thinks it did it but nope. Tried quickgamma, used windows color calibration and the video card's bright/contrast...

If I go here, https://www.ephotozine.com/article/checking-the-gamma-value-of-an-lcd-monitor-23405

It shows it set to gamma 1.6 ( it was at 1.0. I had to use all those things together to even get there, oddly at 1.6 the screen seems mega contrasty. Stupid laptop lol

Any ideas? thanks!
