One thing for anyone to remember, is that if you take you images to a shop (in this case I went to Michaels) is that the framer will help you through what frames and colors are best suited for your image. However, While there and although they kept suggesting the mat and frame, I kindly ignored them and told them what I wanted. Only because I knew what and how I wanted the image to look. If one is new, then take the framers suggesting on the mat and color frame suggestions. Over time, you'll develop and understand what looks good together. Also, In this case I wanted the image to stand out and not have a large frame which can detract from the image. If one selects a complex or detailed frame or mat.. those viewing would be distracted by the mat and frame and not the print, unless the mat and frame have been integrated into the art.
