Wrong Zoom names for Leica, Nikon, Panasonic, Pentax, Sony, Tamron

While Canon and Sigma name their zooms correctly and in accordance to

the construction of their zoom lenses;

Leica, Nikon, Panasonic, Pentax, Sony and Tamron are actually misleading the public.

Once more this becomes obvious with the announcement of the

NEW Sigma FE L mount 24 - 70mm f2.8 Lens.

While this lens actually zooms according to it's name,

the offerings from the other companies zoom in the opposite direction.

Therefor they should be called:

90 - 24 SL or 105 - 24 L or 70 - 24 GM or 75 to 28 lenses.

You will think about this next time you zoom into the wrong direction.
