Just bought A9, question about wear to electronic shutter.

I just bought a Sony A9, and I just took over 1500 photos at an event. I am using the Sony 24-105mm f/4 lens, and I love it. It is so sharp, and it focuses super fast (and quietly). The camera is amazing. I am often using the electronic shutter, and I noticed that the shutter count of my camera doesn't go up when I do so. Does the electronic shutter also have a shutter life even if it doesn't count it? I sell plenty of cameras, and as far as I know, consumers fear purchasing cameras with a high shutter count? And if using the electronic shutter does cause wear to the shutter, then how can consumers tell what the true shutter count of a camera is?
