Text may be inspiring, but the quality of the illustrations is awful.

If someone truly wants to see inspiring photographs I suggest they find out which edition has the best quality images. Third editions are lacking detail, contrast and saturation.

A little feedback.  I bought the third edition based upon the comments in this thread.  Yes, Isabel, you are right about the pictures, BUT I found that by staring at them for a minute I started to see them in 3D - all the different levels pictured.  I was amazed that I saw the pictures in 3D even though they were on a flat 2D page.  I went back and forth over 2-3 days and it did not change.

Have since started to see the different levels in grasses, etc., when walking the dog.  Quite a revelation.  So even if the pictures in the book are not technically really good, they did get me started seeing in 3D again - or noticing things in 3D again - even on a flat page.  So thanks to you all!

Peace.

John
