I am using a Fujian 25mm f/1.4 CCTV lens on my camera. It's a cheap lens ($20-ish). For my purposes, the quality is fine, but the focal length is just a smidgen too long. Can someone recommend another lens? I think even 20mm would be fine, but probably something like 15mm would be ideal. Wider is better than narrower -- I don't mind cropping -- but I think the ultracheap ultrawides and fisheyes would be too wide (8mm would be way too wide).

I can see you tell 8mm is too wide but I will still advise 8 mm SLR Magic because it is not a fisheye

Requirements:

  • Manual focus, manual aperture.
  • Works on MFT

Desirable:

  • Low price
  • Maybe less vignetting than the 25mm CCTV on MFT. The vignetting does cause issues.
  • Works with my adapter

Aside from vignetting, image quality (e.g. sharpness) is almost irrelevant for this application. Indeed, if the edges were blurred, that would probably help more than hurt. There's an image processing pipeline, and vignetting makes that way more complex than it otherwise needs to be.
