Laser tag game photography with 24mm F1.4

Laser tag games are very challenging for photographers: the scene can be very dark, and the subjects are moving around obstacles. I used my A7rIII and 24mm 1.4 with shutter speed priority mode set to 1/60, ISO 6400. It turned out that every picture was taken at the maximum 1.4 aperture and sometimes slightly underexposed, so I could have chosen the M mode. I carried a small and weak led panel on the hotshoe, while trying to be as unobtrusing as I could while the kids were playing. I took many pictures in order to have a few keepers.
The pictures had more grain than I expected, and it is still visible now although I tried to soften it in Lightroom. The shadows were difficult to lift, but it was expected because of the underexposure.

I am open to suggestions on how I could have achieved better results.
