Ontarians who imported cameras, 2005-2011 via UPS (lawsuit)

UPS is paying out the fines in the class-action lawsuit brought by Ontarians for undislosed brokerage charges on UPS Ground (now known as "Standard") shipments from outside Canada.  In addition to the shipping, UPS charged brokerage fees at the end point of shipping (customer) amounting to $20-$100.00.  This is the second time  they've been sued for this.  Anyway, the payouts amount to only $18.00 Canadian or so, likely less than the average person paid for one shipment's brokerage charge.  In my case, I figured I've forked over about $500.00 to them in that time.  UPS is still charging brokerage fees and it goes both ways, if you ship something out of Canada using UPS Standard, the person at the other end pays it.
