Hi Neil -

Is IPA what I think that it is, - that is Indian Pale Ale ??

Or am I missing something here, in relation to this vastly spread camera/lens disease?

Please enlighten me...

Bart

I think the sugars in that might make your camera stickier !

It's isopropyl alcohol I mean .

Don't mix your bottles up while cleaning the camera , I can't imagine the latter tastes so good !

.

If your cleaning your camera get some stocking net cloth . We sell them over here a dish cloths , it's a very coarse cloth so cleans things easier .

A piece of fine cloth would tend to slide around easier and would take more effort .

Well, this clears that up!

Now my other question is: does the alcohol just take away the stickiness, or does it remove the rubbery coating altogether, thus bringing up the metal or plastic surface underneath?
