I've had 35-100 for a while, like the optics a lot. One complaint about the lens and the Oly 40-150/2.8 is that both have huge zoom rings along with small focus rings. In Panasonic's case, it's ~4:1 ratio, compared to ~1:1 ratio of Nikon's 70-200/2.8. Also the focus rings are placed near the front tip. The sizes and placement force users moving left hand more than needed to make focus adjustments, causing an unsettling feeling while shifting unless the camera has a deep grip. Both companies are good at cam bodies' ergonomics and but haven't paid as much attention to their zoom lens design, IMHO.
