Samyang 14mm f/2.8 decentered ?

Hello, I've recently bought a Samyang 14mm 2.8 to do some architectural photography and maybe some astro. After watching some reviews  everybody seems to enjoy this lens and claim it's sharp. I'm wondering if my copy is decentered or has a manufacturing defect as it is soft as butter wide open, the corners (actually half the frame) is soft while the center is acceptable. Another thing that bothers me, infinity is achieved at around the 1m mark, is this due to the fact I'm using an EF to E mount adapter ? The lens was tested on a sony a7ii, canon 600d and m50. On ff infinity at 1m, on crop its at the infinity mark, on crop with speedbooster (ff fov) again at 1m.
