Tamron 150-600mm (G1) for Canon EF on A6400 with MC11?

Would this be a good combo for wildlife and BIF compared to, say, the same lens on a Canon 7D Mark II? I'd expect the Sony to generally be more accurate, but would AF tracking be as fast and sticky?

Also, would the A6400 animal-eye AF work with this lens, and is it this feature useful for wild animal photography? I believe I read somewhere it's optimized for pets.

Thanks!
