you cannot search the store for this version, but with the link, you can download it without issue. Not sure if this helps in any way.

Hi, thanks but I tried that before and I wasn't able to download the free version - it kept saying it wasn't available, maybe because I'm in the UK?

Anyway, as an update I managed to get it to work by going back to the store and noticing that I had to update the app - after I did this I was able to import HEVC files into filmora again.

I'm not sure what happened to make Microsoft remove the codec? Probably a licensing issue or something. It's been on Samsung phones for probably the last 5 years or so, Samsung is renowned for removing features though so I won't hold my breath!
