Infrared B&W Pictures with the SD14

It's so easy to take infrared pictures with Sigma cameras that it's almost something you can do on the spot and without much preparation when you think the subject is right.

With my SD14, I just take the dust cover out and put a Cokin P007 (89b) filter in front of the lens and start shooting. Since the 89b is almost opaque to visible light, I use a Soviet KMZ turret finder in the flash shoe to frame the picture:

The SD14' s sensor has a very good sensitivity in infrared (even better than with the dust cover and without the 89b filter). It's even possible to shoot some action on a cloudy day with bad lighting conditions:
