How Your(?) Tripod is Ruining Your Photography

I see this all the time. Photographer shows up and should've brought an assistant because of the amount of gear they're carrying. The first thing to do is walk to a spot they think will make for a good photo, plop the tripod down and snap, done. Next. I did this for a while too. However, I've found that the way to do it is to take your camera out, walk around and look through the viewfinder. Walk around and look and frame before setting out the tripod. I usually see this with videographers more than photographers, possibly due to the carrying of heavier gear bags.  I see it all over. Stop letting your tripod ruin your(?) photography!
