No, it's not a contradiction at all. Obviously by "general size and weight" I mean relative form factors between the X-T and X-H series.

A slight increase in grip size is not comparable to the relative bulk of the X-H1. The general form factor of the X-T could remain, while increasing ergonomics and battery life, as other manufacturers have done.

I have to say that I disagree with almost everything you've just said; increasing the grip volume of the X-T series erases most of the ergonomic differences between it and the X-H in my opinion.  if I wanted something the size and weight of an SLR, I'd still be shooting Nikon.

Similarly, improved ergonomics is also a matter of opinion and entirely subjective; you may well prefer the X-H1 with its SLR style grip, but I bought the X-T3 specifically because I prefer the ergos of the X-T line.  If I need more grip area or battery life, I have the option of adding the grip/bottom plate or the battery grip; on the other hand, there's no way to make it smaller if you increase the size of the grip for whatever reason.  So no, no thanks.  if anything, a smaller, lighter X-T4 would be my choice.
