I found little evidence the people prefer photos with the rule of thirds

I set out to find studies reviewing what kind of pictures people find more attractive.

I found a study where people liked food photos where the rule of thirds is applied, more so than photos without it.

But that's it. I really found it now studies no evidence that portraits, for example, is viewed as more attractive. I'm not talking about how many experts tell you and me that we should use the rule of thirds because this expert thinks it's more awesome.

I'm talking about a careful review of picture ratings in websites such as photo.net and dpchallenge.

But I'm just one person and maybe one of you has seen proof that the rule of thirds makes pictures more aesthetically appealing.

Feel free to add your input if that's the case. Thank you.
