There are a number of FF macro lenses such as the Sony 90mm F/2.8 and Voigtlander FE mount macro lenses that are in a different league to the Olympus

The Olympus lens which I own wins on size and weight for sure and is a great bit of kit on its own, it also is a lot more fun to use . However the Sony 90mm which I also own is a superb performer so much so that I bought a TZE-01 adapter so that I can continue to use the Sony on my Nikon Z7

The Sony 90mm macro was the single best macro lens I have ever used, and the ONLY lens that I regretted having to lose the use of when I sold my A7 system. It's in another league from most macros, not just the OIy .

Very true and why I bought the adapter to continue using it on the Z7 as my admittedly older Nikon 105mm VR macro is no match for the Sony. The voigtlander 65mm { 1:2 macro } and 110mm are also super performers though you of course lose AF { not such a big deal for macro }
