It is huge. It obstructs part of the viewfinder. I love mine and it stays on my Leica all the time. Consider, you get a very wide range of apertures f22 - f1.2. The optical performance is adequate for amateur and professional use. The cost is relatively low. I would consider it an all-purpose multi-tasking lens of the highest caliber.

I don't know what kind of physical shape you're in but I'm 83 and I walk around with it all day.
