Have you noticed a difference in the way e-shutter works? What's the max e-shutter speed on the GX7?

1/16000" vs 1/8000". Would it be a real deal breaker in real life?

Might be worth mentioning that the GX80 apparently has a quieter shutter, is that useful?

The new shutter on GX85 and later models help, but not a 100% elimination of shutter shock as I found. 14~140 which is prone to SS because of its very sensitive OIS, still find trace of SS on M-shutter of GX85. In fact the same (happened in more restrictive conditions) on G85.

My latest home testing suggested even EFCS of G85 might produce less sharp image on using 14~140 vs e-shutter on 1:1 examination.

If applicable, e-shutter is still the best/safest option for sharpest output IMHO.

Hmm. I've never seen any sign of shutter shock when using either of my 14-140 lenses [I can't tell which is which anyway] on the GX80. My eyesight is pretty good.

Not saying that it is totally eliminated under all circumstances, just that I have yet to observe it, using exclusively manual shutter on the GX80 for eighteen months.  Yet it is clearly there on the G6 and G7 when the shutter speed is in the susceptible range, without too much pixel peeping.
