My wife has the gx7 II with the nauticam. The flat port is fine for macro and more distant, but for the shark trip I switcher her to the vendor 3.5" dome port which gives a bit more width without doing to the greater effort of a larger dome or a wet port.

Indeed the whale shark was at Oslob so only natural light there; no added port either.

For some of the macro ones I used a macro lens (INON UCL-165 M67) and one strobe (Sea & Sea YS-02). Case was a Meikon one ... absolutely rubbish with buttons jamming all the time. Not recommended but this G7X II + Meikon case was the only set up I could find in Cebu before boarding after my previous set up got flooded.
