Hi.

This is my first thread on DPR and am still a learner (so kindly forgive if my terminology is bit off the mark)
I recently purchased Fuji X-T100 with 15-45mm as an easy to carry general purpose and landscape camera (esp easy to carry on mountain hikes)
I was just trying some shots and it seems to me its auto white balance selection is bit off, esp in daylight ( I need to change Kelvin value to match the image on the EVF/LCD to real one ). So default colors seem bit wrong. I have Rebel XT along with 70-300 nano usm and 100 f/2. Canon's colors seem better to me (esp the 100 f/2)
Is this known concern (I thought mirrorless are much better at getting white balance right)
Apart from that I quite happy with the body, esp the controls it gives (Canon Rebels for eg. don't allow min shutter speed settings in auto iso, this one does). And am looking forward to later add some better lenses.

Thanks!

If your WB is consistently off in the same direction (too magenta or whatever) you can tweak it to your liking with the WB shift function. I find the auto WB to pretty good in my X-T2 and X-T20, but it does consistently go too magenta in a green forest. I always shoot RAW so I just tweak it in post if necessary.

Thanks.

Yes. That's where I actually chose a higher kelvin value to match what I was seeing. I guess will need to check in every situation to see if its right or needs to be tweaked.
Is this something which can get corrected later by a firmware update ?
