Really, I wouldn't advise anyone to upgrade for that reason alone, you would be disappointed.
On the GX9 ISO 100 is perfectly usable whereas on the GX80 I had to be very careful with highlights. I'd recommend giving it a go as I find there is much less noise doing this.
