By the way, the sharpest 135mm's I've used so far are Pentax-A 135mm f/2.8 and Quarry 135mm f/2.8 For a fast 50mm manual lens, I useSMC Pentax 50mm f/1.4 these days.

Those are some interesting optics! Pentax 50mm f1.7 was the fastest lens I've had so far! This Pentax 135mm f2.8 is tempting, although I paid only 15 euros for my f3.5 M version!

That's a steal

Served me very well!

I have Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7..its a fine lens:-) The bokeh is actually better than my Pentax SMC DA 50mm f/1.8 . Pentax and Takumar manual lenses are often expensive. Partly because they are usually better than most; partly because they had SMC (super multi coated) when other manufacturers had either non, or single-coatings on lenses; and partly because Pentax brand is still alive and Pentaxians prefer to buy their own manual lenses from the past (for good reasons:-)).
