I am more than happy with the current EVF’s (EVF-DC1 and EVF-DC2) , but I am not using it very often. After I got used to it, I think the excellent (tilt) LCD screen on the Canon cameras are much better and more versatile than any EVF in most situations. So I am not very interested in a new EVF myself. But I like the idea and I think it could be useful for some people in a few situations. I am often positive to new and innovative ideas. I don’t just trash them because I don’t need it myself.

+1 I’ve been using the back LCD as my primary shooting display for many years now.  In fact one of the reasons I jumped at the M6ii is because there’s a strong possibility that both an M50ii and M5ii would have an articulating LCD instead of (my preferred) tilting LCD.  (Tilting is just so fast and easy for me).

I do use the EVF when I have something larger than my 100L mounted (like when shooting birds, planes, wildlife).  And my OVF (DSLR) is still used for BIFs.

The main time that I use remote flash triggers regularly is when I’m working, and that’s with a different camera and a much bigger setup (studio strobes).  For my fun shooting with the M6ii I’ll just mount my little radios (won’t need an EVF then).

So many great options to have!
