How often you experience situations when photos you think are the best you have done, are not received as well as photos you made specifically to please some kind of trend like colorful fantasy type post-processing or close distance (up to arm length) portraits? Is it any different when selling your photos instead just publishing? Have you got different reactions when showing the same photos printed?

I don't think I have any picture that I don't think if given a chance that something could be improved.

I don't need to share a picture at least at this site for anything. Any constructive feedback is lost in the noise of the trolls, other sites are much more cordial and even bring the better side of me, LOL.

But I have many pictures that make me happy, and as long as I'm happy really don't care what others think technically, the make memories for me.

Chipmaster, wow, really ? I find the members here to be a huge help with CC. Oh sure, with my "general public" kind of taste in photos, their are always going to be a few here who really don't have anything to add which might be of help to me. But as of a couple years back, all because of my own personal decision to never again engage in any kind of negative discussion, this place has felt amazingly positive to me 🙂 I think the trolls just know better than to waste any time trying with me 😀 lol
