Re: Finally have something to show ;D

Hi Scott,

If you can invest some time and have some spare room (the space you'll be building will probably stay a mess for quite some time haha), then jump in with both feet and never look back.

And don't hesitate to ask me for techniques, I'll be super glad to help as much as I can.

I'll tell you guys, this whole thing has been an eye opener.

I've always been working on limited budgets, even in my pro days I only had access to very unispiring, underwhelming productions.

This is the firts time ever I feel I can produce world class images, even if I decide to keep this just a hobby. (on the fence right now if I wanna ever go back to the stressful life of my pro days...)

I feel confident in saying such bold statements, because as soon as you build your own sets, you're no longer limited to your reality's constraints.

If I can't travel to Greece for a shooting, I can build a set that represents a location in a Greek island.

Same for Rio de Janeiro, NYC, California desert, or places from movies like Indiana Jones, Aladdin, etc (all these places and themes have sets already scheduled to be built).

It simply doesn't matter anymore what are the constraints of your reality.

You suddenly jump to world class level productions, even if you're a small fish like I am.

It's like you're in a game and suddenly you enter a super cheat mode.

You may be just some small guy, but you're now able to produce photography punching 4 or 5 weight classes above.

It's very exciting, and I encourage everyone to try this out.

Once you do, you'll see photography has never been THATfun, ever.

I wish I had more to show right now, but I'll keep you guys updated as soon as more sets get built.

Guys, here's one shot from Sunday, directly out of SPP with no retouching at the moment.

Just so I can post something better than potato quality haha

Yeah, it's underexposed, there's a bit of PP to do.

Best regards,
Marcio Napoli
