Get a Panasonic G9, Way better and tons more features.

Had G9 for some time, it is nice, but z50 will have better image quality, better lowlight, better AF for sure. On the other hand z50 doesn’t have Ibis(you need to chose lenses with ibis) and for now z50 will have limited lens selection

  1. The complete range of existing Z-mount lenses are quite usable with the Z50; none are at a focal length where 1/focal length becomes inhibiting for hand-held photography. IBIS is a nice to have, but by no means essential. The only issue is that a bit more care will be needed with technique to minimise camera shake - like we have all been doing for years with our DSLRs.
  2. There's plenty of existing longer focal length FX and DX lenses with VR that can be used with the Z50 plus FTZ.
  3. The situation will be different when, for example, the 70-200 f/2.8 S is released - that may not have VR - in which case IBIS would be an advantage.  OTOH, a purchaser of the Z50 isn't that likely to buy the 70-200 f/2.8 S...
  4. The longer Z-mount lenses may well incorporate VR in any case - e.g. the 200-600, which would follow on quite nicely from the DX 50-250...
