That makes a lot of sense, but it makes me wonder how many different people made "YS" lens mounts? Sigma did, and I have one made by Sun (Courtesy of Dave at Heritage Cameras).

I believe it was a collaborative effort between the founder of Sigma, Michihiro Yamaki, and Fred Spira of Spiratone fame: YS.
