If I want to make a slow motion video then I have to record at 120 and play back at 60... But apparently there is no sound recording at 120 from what I gather

Think about it logically, if you are slowing down the vision then you would also be slowing down the audio and that would sound pretty awful, most probably unrecognisable.

Yup... I agree. that would be unrecognizable.. and I wondered about that.. So: in other words if you are going to do slow motion you need to voice separately

Generally speaking, slow motion has something other than voice audio, unless it's some kind of a narration or something. There is no way you could sync the mouth movements with normal speed audio and slow motion footage. It would just be a mess.
