Are you as paranoid as I am about filling up large hard drives

like from 2 TB on up to 6/8/10 TB?  My storage needs are growing exponentially, what with current work and future backups.  I'm comfortable with 2 TB hard drives for storage (currently Western Digital Blue) but it just seems to make more sense to get even larger ones.

My paranoia stems from the belief that if I have one drive fail with only 1 TB of files, maybe a 2 TB hard drive, that would be bad enough.  But to have a full 4 TB drive fail would be catastrophic.

BTW, I've never had a hard drive fail but I can see myself filling up two 4 TB hard drives right away.

I'm talking spinning hard drives and don't have any interest in cloud storage.  I put my hard drives in a bank safe deposit box when I'm through accessing them regularly so a house fire would not be the cause of their demise.
