Mountain Goat on Mt Evans

I spent a morning at the Mt Evans parking lot and got over a 100 shots of mountain goats and a few shots of big horn sheep.  There was a snow fall at the parking lot a few days before my trip to Mt Evans and the park service put salt down on the walking paths so the people  would not slip and fall.  The goats and Sheep thought this was a great salt lick and came up large numbers to lick the salt off the walk ways.  The did not seem to be worried about the people in the area and just poked around for about an hour and then headed up the mountain.  Great photo ops and lot of fun!  All images were made with the SD14 and the 70-300 mm APO lens,

)ne Big Horn Sheep also came around
