Re: Anyone switched from Lightroom and raw to Google Photos and JPG?

Mixed results so I have also edited the raw file in LR, which I was expecting to be able to take the heavy saturation. Looks bad too, so its back to the drawing board of trying different files and less heavy editing. The 26MP lossless raw came out at 14MB...

Conclusion so far:

Despite this one having a noticeable line across the sky, overall the sky is cleanest using the raw file. Therefore, Google Photos is out. It's not often I want to edit a sky this much but it ruins photos having the macro blocking when editing JPGs. Will just have to put up with LR Android for now and switch to a Microsoft Surface at some point.

The only way Google Photos would be viable is if I could bake in an almost ready JPG in-camera. Which is above my skill level, but not impossible in future, especially with Fuji.
