New lens for motorsport photography.

Hi,

I have a Canon 77D and 600D and mainly use them for taking photos of travel and family. This year I’ve really got into taking photos of motorsport! Mostly cars! I’ve always been an avid car fan so the two go hand in hand for me. The only zoom lens I have is an EFS 55-250 STM. It’s given me some nice sharp images but I’d like an upgrade. I originally set out to upgrade my zoom lens for one with more reach but then found myself looking at Canon and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 for faster shutter speeds thinking I can always crop them. I’d like to use the new lens for both motorsport, family shots and perhaps the odd wildlife shot whilst out walking. Has anyone got any experience with the lens below? Especially for motorsport? I’ve listed them in my current most likely to purchase order.

Canon 70-200 L f4 is ii

Canon 70-300 is ii USM

Canon 100-400 L

Sigma 70-200 f2.8 sport (very heavy I here)

thank you.

Canon EOS 600D (EOS Rebel T3i / EOS Kiss X5) Canon EOS 77D / EOS 9000D
