You want something that is:

  1. VERY black and matte
  2. not going to shed particles, potentially onto your sensor

Google "Beetle Black".  I got some of this stuff in sheets.  I just rolled it up and inserted it in my tubes.  It completely eliminated the hot spot in the center of my images when using microscope objectives.

You'll need to buy a lint roller and run it over the sheet(s) to ensure that there's nothing loose on them.
