condensation on lens

it was my first night time photo shoot ( 5 degrees outside )

i done the usual left camera in bag outside to Acclimatise for 20 mins

s9600 with a fog filter,, filter was on during acclimse .

set up my intervalometer and start shooting

one hour in condensation forms quite heavy on filter, so i am now concerned about the the camera internals so give up.

left camera overnight indoors ,, hoping any condensation will dissipate and not have harmed the camera.

question is how do i stop it

thinking

heating of some form but bulky and needs regulating

or a small fan blowing air across or onto the lens itself easy enough

would this condensation have harmed my camera
