As for differences between the two, in a photo you won't see the 70 something mm in extra wheelbase, the couple of degrees slacker head angle, the extra trail in the fork to axle dimensions, the slightly lesser bottom bracket drop, shorter chain stays and longer reach, but point the bike down a rough, steep and gnarly descent, and the differences are night and day.
