Anyone switched from Lightroom and raw to Google Photos and JPG?

Anyone done this and if so are you happy with the image quality?

I know some compressed JPG photos will fall apart but LR is so clunky on Android that it is a hassle and taking the fun out of photography, especially as I travel a lot and am not keeping up editing photos. It is not ideal with Fuji's raw files too (dodgy sharpening).

Any thoughts from those with experience using both would be appreciated as I am unsure if I will regret going backwards to JPG. Life was so much easier, faster and simpler with JPG and Google Photos and I don't print much, or big.

Might even use the free Google Photos as their compression is very good. But it seems a bit silly to use a good 26MP camera (XT3) and just use compressed JPGs. I would still shoot raw for certain things. Anyway, will give it a test run for a while before deciding, but any experience/ opinions would be welcome.
