It is not the best lens of its class, e.g. 14~140 is a step better, but I never have vignetting issue nor CA on Panny bodies. It is a lens of reasonable IQ in its price tag <US$130.

What is the body that you have such problem?

It is not the dark corners issue, but sides are darker then the center of the image by ~1EV

Not very good as per your posted sample.

According to the review of this lens by Opotcallimits, it seems that the vignetting should not be so bad (except wide open @45mm and @150mm):

I rarely shoot for the sky to look for the vignetting as you did, but on my general experience on this lens vignetting is not really noticeable, or at least so bad that to my worrying.

The following is a day to day SOOC jpg snapshot when I test the newly purchased G85:

The result is quite consistent on GX7 (which was my main camera and had 45-150 on it for last 5 years)... A few SOOC jpg on GX7 from my last trip to the Holy Land:

Wedding Church of Kafr Kanna

Wedding Church

Church of the Primacy of St Peter

Caesarea

I suppose you might agree that these should not have really vignetting issue.

Did your images were converted from RAW by a non G80 supported RAW converter? Or if SOOC jpg, had you disabled the "Shading Comp" in REC Menu?
