A Good Upgrade

The E-M5ii is still a good camera (I've used one for four years) but its big flaw was poorly implemented C-AF, which reduced its effectiveness for shooting wildlife  This upgrade provides just about everything I would have wanted:  fast and reliable PDAF C-AF with all the bells and whistles imported from the E-M1ii and E-M1X, including sensitivity and control adjustment, a focus limiter, and pro-capture.  These technologies may already have been implemented in Oly's flagship models, but they're new to mid-level M43.

The new camera isn't perfect -- I agree with Robin Wong's criticisms in his video -- but overall its a superb update, especially if you have an interest in shooting action or wildlife.

. . . Steven
