Step up from EM10 MII

Hello to everyone,

The time has come for me to make a step up from my trusty EM10 MII. I wanna change to another newer M4/3 camera, but not sure which one is the right choice.

Before EM5 MIII was leaked, I was heavily looking into Panasonic G90. I have invested in several Olympus lenses and own only 1 Panasinic lens - 25mm 1.7

I am not a professional photographer, I am not looking to become one. I am just a hobbyist shooting for pleasure and relaxation. I am not particularly interested in video, but would be nice if its at least up to date with 1080.

My pros for the G90:

  • I like the body - feels sturdy and rugged
  • I like the flip screen
  • I like the sensor and the photos it produces.
  • Big PRO for me is the back OLED screen
  • Price for body only is acceptable for me Promo - 945.379EUR

My cons for G90

  • Autofocus is contrast only
  • New menus that I have to learn
  • I only own Olympus lenses
  • Not so sure about Panasonic

My Pros for EM5 MIII

  • I am used to the body
  • Flip screen
  • Great sensor
  • Hybrid AF
  • Used to the menus
  • Own only Olympus lenses

My Cons for EM5 MIII

  • Not so sure about the plastic build
  • Does not excite me ( haha )
  • Pricey

Honestly the price is what is drawing me towards the Panasonic the most. I dont understand a lot about cameras, but by watching and reading - looks like the above 2 cameras are very similar. I am not considering any Fuji`s or Sony`s.

Sorry for the long post, but can someone point me in the right direction?

Olympus OM-D E-M10
