FTZd ie FTZ-Adapter Version 2.0 -- w/Motor for D-lenses?

A cohort of Nikonians sure do hope so! This drum will not stop beating....

We've had recurring discussion of this glaring gap, especially as the Z cameras bring a whole new life on Classic Nikkors. At least one of these threads illustrates the Sony s'driver AF adapter.

It will be wise for Nikon to close this gap for AFD and precursor F-Nikkors. As you put so well - warts and all but many of us stick with the 85 f1.4AFD and 28-105 AFD and other Classic Nikkors. some listed here: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/62188602

If a 3rd Party FTZd adapter is released, well Nikon will have even more egg on their faces. It can only be frustrating, if not embarrassing for their top engineers, who are fully cognisant of The old lens revival and some appear to be actively involved in their own photography (in 1001 Nights #65
