Using Rear Control Wheel with Gloves

Hi Folks,

Purchased a6400 recently, and am finding it difficult to use rear control wheel with gloves.  I have to press the wheel harder than normal to have enough friction to turn, which always causes a button press on one of the functions on the wheel.  I can't imagine trying to use that wheel with mittens, once it gets colder! I searched here and found only one possible solution, which is to use rubber self stick dots on the control wheel.  There was another suggestion to use gloves/mittens that have fingers that can be exposed, but would rather not go down that route as my fingers get very cold (and numb) very quickly.

Anyone else found a solution to this?  I am using the rear wheel to control aperture, and the thumb wheel for exposure comp.  Boy I wish there was another dial on the top (front) of the camera!  If you use rubber dots, which ones work well?

Thanks!
