Church indoor shooting with MagBounce modifier or grid

I'm interested in people's experiences shooting in a church. Churches tend to have mixed lighting and can be somewhat of a challenge if the architecture doesn't allow for too much light. I would typically shoot with a fast lens wide open and max ISO (1600-3200) but with light fall off and low light would you use a gridded flash or the softbox replicating MagBounce? Think wedding and you're shooting people walking down the aisle. I have used both but not inside a church. Your thoughts are welcome. I'm thinking of using f/4, 1.7, 85mm, with ISO 400 if flash. WB maybe auto, flash, or tungsten. Thank you all.

Enclosed is the church I'm referencing about the time of day I will be shooting.  I exposed  for the ambient here.
