Why ? i wouldnt of even visited this forum. have just made up an external power supply thanks to max bit of incite. Anyway just cost me $4.50 for a plug to fit my em12 + a fuse holder. all ready had the 2C batteries 5000mah and i also had the low voltage alarm/monitor that plugs into the battery sensor lead works great . Thanks mate was a good little project that i will be using over the coming month with all the dance concert rehearsals and dance shoots saved me buying a 3rd $100 battery.

Don

Ahh that's why i didn't see it in the list, little buggers. Well good to hear it worked out for ya Don. That's a crazy setup, beyond my know-how lol. I looked at the USB setup with adapter that Jedi mentioned but i think it's simpler to just use the dummy battery and get a power bank with DC out, and not worry about my USB port getting ripped out.

It requires no extra wires beyond the dummy wire, no adapters, and i think will be cheaper overall. I do like how many options there are for us though, it can be fun, this tinkering stuff!
