Not until Epson rewrites their software.

What does this mean? Will I not be able to print with my Epson 3880 if I upgrade to Catalina?

Epson has appeared to be slow to react to the Mac OS change to 64 bit, but they have been at work after all. The previous versions of Epson software have been 32 bit, which is not supported in Catalina.

I use an Epson scanner for work purposes, and I noticed that yesterday when Catalina became available, that there was n new 64 bit version of Epson scan, called Epson Scan 2

This works on Catalina.

I looked at the website for Epson 3880 and there seems to be new Epson drivers and software for Catalina. I think your device should be fine. I cannot be certain as I don't have that printer.
