Pen F users - some quick questions...

... I have a Pen F as well (that I got fairly recently) and it seems that I'm in the same minority in that I use it to shoot RAW only (though I might have to experiment with the Olympus software). Because of the fact that the OS on my mac is so old and I don't really want to upgrade it as I feel that it might slow my old computer down (and might not even be compatible) and the photos app on it doesn't deal with the RAWs from my Pen F very well (the previews are really smudgy, unclear), I shoot RAW and then the lowest res JPEG. I only use those JPEGs as previews though...

It seems that I'm in the same camp as you too in that I use the camera more often than not with the same Panny 12-60 lens, which I like and seems to work fine on the Pen F despite the fact that so many see it as a camera that favors small primes (I have a few of those as well).

I use it with an inexpensive though perfectly functional grip, which I really couldn't live without as I like to do a lot of on-the-go one handed shooting and that doesn't work well without some sort of grip. Not sure the brand but it has a wood handle part on it, though the fact that it's wood would be easy to miss as the wooden part of it is painted the same black as the rest of the thing, thus camouflaging the fact that it's even wood. To me it looks pretty "integrated" with the camera thus doesn't destroy the aesthetic of it, which I dig, but I have to admit is maybe a bit less important to me than it seems to be with other users of this camera...

Overall, I really like it though I have a bit of feeling that I'm missing some of the magic of it not being a JPEG shooter... I do like the higher res sensor, which seems to me to be a little bit more detailed than the one in my old EM10 (which actually was a great camera).
